DATABASE CHANGES AS OF JULY 1, 2012

The State of Illinois has passed legislation related to the Cemetery Oversight Act to ease the financial burden on cemeteries. This change means that cemeteries will no longer be required to purchase registrations in order to enter burials into the Illinois Cemetery Oversight Database for burial dates occurring July 1, 2012 and after. Any unused registrations will be reimbursed to the cemetery by check.
